WVUSAFE Campaign

Every Worker Deserves to Make it Home Safe – Every Day

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics 2014 Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, 4,821 people – more than 13 per day – died while doing their jobs. Implementing safety measures can change these statistics.

NSC Safety training builds skills needed to save lives:

For more than 100 years, the National Safety Council has been a leader in workplace safety. We know that employers who show they care about the safety of their employees see improved morale, increased productivity, lower costs and, most importantly, fewer injuries.

Help us, help you. Any accident, injury, or near miss should be reported in 24 hours. Access the most up to date information, then email completed form to WVUInjuryIncidentReport@mail.wvu.edu. We will initiate corrective action to prevent future accidents, facilitate access to any benefits you may have and assist you to get back to work as quickly and safely as possible.

WVUSAFE because priorities change, but values don’t.
